Despite his tremendous talent, concerns about Randolph’s work ethic and lack of focus have led the Warriors to consider trading him, according to various reports. When reached by telephone, Larry Riley, Golden State’s general manager, would not comment on the reports. “I don’t comment on trade rumors,” Riley said. Sources within the Warriors organization and around the league say the 6-foot-10 forward is available, but they said he is not being shopped. - ESPN.com

Executives mentioned New York and Houston as clubs that have interest in Randolph, but he will not be easy to move because of the great disparity between his small salary ($1.8 million) and his perceived upside. - ESPN.com

One of only two owners to vote against the Sonics’ move to Oklahoma City, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban said he still thinks the franchise should have remained in Seattle. “It had nothing to do with Oklahoma City, Tulsa or the area here,” Cuban said. “It’s a great area. It wasn’t a reflection of what I thought of the area here. It’s just size.” - newsok.com

The Rockets were 14-10 this season without Yao Ming and McGrady, and now the only question is how long they’ll have to keep up the charade until McGrady is in good enough condition to help another team. “The plan is to increase his minutes because they’re gonna trade him,” said a person familiar with the Rockets’ plans. - CBSSports.com

Tuesday night, however, McGrady’s appearance elicited a much different response from the Rockets faithful. - chron.com

But over the last 11 games, with just a short increase in minutes (23.4), Boone has hiked his numbers in every area: 6.3 ppg (.529), 6.8 rpg. He has also had 11 blocks in the last seven games. - nj.com

“We make adjustments with teams before we play the game. That sends the wrong message to ourselves,” Bosh said after losing to the Magic, 118-99, Wednesday night. “We practice all the time so we should trust our system. We need to go out there and play hard. If they beat us for one quarter doing the things we normally do, then okay. Now we can change it up.” - NBA Fanhouse

Bosh’s assessment is especially troubling for the Raptors because keeping him happy will be key to keeping him in Toronto this summer. There are several teams, like the Heat, Knicks, Nets, and possibly Bulls, who are prepared to bid for his services this summer. - NBA Fanhouse

“Anytime you have another All-Star, it makes things easier. That would be fun,” Bosh said after Wednesday’s game. “I don’t know if it would work with Dwight. We’re both in the post, and we might be in each other’s way. We both demand the ball. He (Wade) is a guard. That would be different.” - NBA Fanhouse

The Celtics are Wallace’s fifth team in his 14-year career. He played nearly eight seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers and more than five seasons with the Detroit Pistons. Yet the word “we” rolled off his tongue like he had been playing in Boston since he was a rookie. “I’ve still got [my Pistons jerseys] at the crib. That didn’t change because that’s still part of what I did,” said Wallace. - WEEI.com
