vs(From the Associated Press) - Raymond Felton’s postgame celebration included a noticeable limp and a grimace or two. For the point guard known for his high pain tolerance, it was all worth it after delivering the Charlotte Bobcats a much-needed win. In a walking boot just a day earlier to treat a twisted right ankle, Felton hit a tie-breaking 12-foot fadeaway with 1.9 seconds left and the Bobcats beat the road-weary and stranded Washington Wizards 94-92 on Tuesday night to snap a three-game losing streak. After Antawn Jamison missed a scoop shot in the lane, the Bobcats got the rebound and didn’t call a timeout. Felton ran down the clock from the right side of the floor, then dribbled to the left of the lane and let go a shot over Randy Foye’s outstretched arms that swished through...Stephen Jackson scored 22 points for Charlotte, which reached .500 again with managing partner Michael Jordan and owner Bob Johnson making rare appearances courtside. “We really needed it,” coach Larry Brown said. “And we had Michael and Mr. Johnson in the stands, so that was even better.” Caron Butler had 23 for the Wizards, who surprised the Magic in Orlando on Friday, then were scheduled to fly to Washington after the game and face Atlanta on Saturday...“I didn’t rush either shot,” said Jamison, who scored 16 points. “I just wasn’t fortunate to convert them. It’s tough.” All-Star Gerald Wallace added 17 points and 13 rebounds, Murray and Boris Diaw added 16 points apiece and Felton scored 11 for the Bobcats in Tyson Chandler’s return after missing 22 games with a foot injury.

vs(From the Associated Press) - LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers keep rolling along. James scored 32 points to lead the Cavaliers to their 12th straight win Tuesday night, a 104-97 victory over the New Jersey Nets. The win gives Cleveland the longest winning streak in the NBA this season. The Cavaliers (42-11) also have the best record in the league...While the Nets held the lead for most of the first quarter and were within four points late in the third period, New Jersey’s miserable season continued. The Nets (4-47) have the NBA’s worst record and have lost seven straight. New Jersey played without point guard Devin Harris, who has a sprained left shoulder. Courtney Lee led the Nets with 24 points. Nets swingman Chris Douglas-Roberts, who averages 12.2 points, was benched Tuesday night. He left Saturday’s game with back spasms, but Vandeweghe said he wanted to look at other players...Even James is puzzled about the Nets’ woes. “They have a lot of talent,” he said. “I think Brook Lopez one day will be an all-star. Devin Harris one day could be an all-star. They have good talent. I don’t see why they are where they are at this point in the season.” Jawad Willams scored a career-high 17 points while Anderson Varejao added 15 for Cleveland. The Nets built an eight-point lead in the first quarter thanks primarily to 11 points by Jarvis Hayes, who hit three 3-pointers. Cleveland scored the last seven points of the quarter and went ahead for good early in the second period...Lopez scored 23 points and Hayes added 19 for the Nets. The Nets have lost 15 straight on the road and are 1-27 away from home.

vs(From the Associated Press) - A dominant fourth quarter helped the Chicago Bulls in their quest to build momentum heading into the All-Star break. Luol Deng had 23 points and 11 rebounds, and the Bulls beat the Indiana Pacers 109-101 on Tuesday night. Chicago outscored Indiana 28-15 in the final 12 minutes...Derrick Rose and John Salmons each scored 21 points for the Bulls. Kirk Hinrich scored 17 points, and Brad Miller added 13 for Chicago. Danny Granger had 27 points and 10 rebounds, Troy Murphy had 18 points and 16 rebounds and Earl Watson added 14 points and six assists for the Pacers. Chicago shot 51 percent from the field. Salmons, a reserve, did his part by shooting 7-for-10...The Bulls hung tough on the boards without center Joakim Noah. The league’s No. 3 rebounder with 12 per game was not with the team because of a left foot injury. Miller, a former Pacer, started in his place...Chicago trailed the entire second half until a 3-point play by Rose, then a two-handed jam by Taj Gibson tied the score at 92 with 7 minutes to go. Rose closed out the 9-0 run with a long jumper from the top of the key that gave the Bulls a 96-92 lead. A dunk by Deng with 1:56 to play extended Chicago’s lead to 103-97, and the Bulls led by at least five points the rest of the way.

vs(From the Associated Press) - The 76ers put together a complete game and blew out Minnesota. Andre Iguodala scored 24 points, Elton Brand added 21, and Philadelphia’s reserves performed well to help the 76ers to a 119-97 win over the imberwolves on Tuesday night. The 76ers were once again missing guard Allen Iverson, who has been out the past four games to tend to his ill daughter. The reserves came through for Philadelphia as Lou Williams (16 points), Thaddeus Young (15), Royal Ivey (9) and Jason Smith (9) helped the team win its fifth straight...The game was played before a sparse crowd who braved the area’s second major snowstorm in less than a week. A strong contingent came to see Minnesota’s Wayne Ellington, who grew up in a Philadelphia suburb. Ellington led Minnesota scorers with 16 points, while Corey Brewer and Jonny Flynn added 14 and 13, respectively. The loss ended Minnesota’s four-game winning streak...The 43 points produced in the second quarter and the 73 points in the half were season highs. Philadelphia scored 40 first-quarter points in an Oct. 31 game at New York, and 71 first-half points Dec. 14 against Golden State. “I wish I could blame everything on the second quarter,” Timberwolves coach Kurt Rambis said. “I don’t think we came out and played hard from the beginning. I was disappointed with the effort overall. They played harder than us and we turned the ball over way too much.”...At 20-31, the Sixers head to Toronto for a game Wednesday, then come out of the break with games against Miami and Chicago, teams ahead of them for playoff position.

vs(From the Associated Press) - The New York crowd that adored Omri Casspi definitely left with an appreciation of Tyreke Evans. Evans led a thrilling fourth-quarter comeback, Kevin Martin scored nine of his 17 points in overtime, and the Sacramento Kings beat the Knicks 118-114 on Tuesday night to end a six-game losing streak. Evans finished with 27 points, 10 rebounds and six assists, scoring 12 points in the final 7 minutes of regulation after the Knicks had built a 15-point lead, repeatedly finding his way into the lane...Donte Greene added 24 points and Casspi, cheered throughout by a large Jewish contingent, finished with 18, just two after halftime. Wilson Chandler scored a career-high 35 points for the Knicks, who have lost three straight and six of seven to bring a 19-32 record into the All-Star break. David Lee finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds...Al Harrington scored 17 for New York, Jeffries had 13 points and 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season, and Nate Robinson had 11 points on 4-of-15 shooting, also leaving the game at one point after having the wind knocked out of him. An otherwise forgettable game between non-contenders drew some extra attention in New York because of Casspi, the first Israeli to play in the NBA. The Knicks called it “Jewish Heritage Night” and Casspi heard loud cheers and chants during the game while keeping Sacramento close in the first half. “This is not a regular game for me and it was important for me to start strong … show the coach and everybody that I am here to play and focus on basketball,” Casspi said. “In the second half, we did great stuff.”

vs(From the Associated Press) - Dwyane Wade took an elbow to the nose in the opening minutes, and the Miami Heat spent the rest of the night paying back the Houston Rockets. Eager to snap a five-game losing streak, the Heat raced to their largest halftime lead of the season Tuesday night and beat short-handed Houston 99-66. Wade finished with 17 points, seven assists, five steals and one sore nose. He sat out the fourth quarter and was also on the bench for a breather to start the second period, when the Heat outscored Houston 17-4 to go up 41-20...The Rockets played without guards Trevor Ariza (hip pointer) and Kyle Lowry (sprained left ankle). “We caught a Houston team that was a little beat up, and that certainly was a factor,” Miami coach Erik Spoelstra said...Wade went sprawling when Chuck Hayes’ elbow caught him in the nose early in the game. The Rockets were in full retreat after that. They shot 30 percent, including 4 of 18 from 3-point range, and their point total was a season low. Aaron Brooks, who leads Houston in scoring, shot 3 of 16 and totaled 10 points...Luis Scola led Houston with 12 points. Chase Budinger shot 3 of 12 but had 12 rebounds...Six players scored in double figures for the Heat, who swept the two-game season series. Udonis Haslem made seven of his first eight shots and finished with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Reserve Dorell Wright reached his career high in assists after 16 minutes and finished with seven to go with nine points and six rebounds. Reserve Carlos Arroyo tied a season high with 12 points. The Heat bench totaled 48 points.

vs(From the Associated Press) - Jamal Crawford was aware of how difficult Memphis has been this season to beat at home, so he did all he could to keep the Grizzlies at a distance in the final quarter. Crawford scored 28 points, including four 3-pointers in the fourth quarter that helped the Atlanta Hawks pull away from the Memphis Grizzlies for a 108-94 victory Tuesday night...Josh Smith added 17 for the Hawks and Marvin Williams and Al Horford scored 15 each as Atlanta snapped a three-game road losing steak. All-Star Zach Randolph had 20 points and 14 rebounds for Memphis, which enters the All-Star break on a four-game losing steak. Rudy Gay had 18 for the Grizzlies and O.J. Mayo finished with 16...“We tried playing zone in the fourth quarter and they destroyed the zone as well,” Memphis coach Lionel Hollins said. “Jamal Crawford got going and made a lot of shots.”...Memphis shot 76.5 percent in the first quarter and 59 percent in the first half. Thirty of the Grizzlies’ first-half 55 points came in the paint. “I think what hurt us is we just played 24 minutes,” Mayo said. “Against a good team playing a high level like the Hawks, it takes the whole team playing 48 minutes.”

vs(From the Associated Press) - Tayshaun Prince sees better days ahead for the Detroit Pistons. He scored a season-high 18 points on 7 of 11 shooting and Rodney Stuckey added 18 to help the Pistons beat the Milwaukee Bucks 93-81 on Tuesday night...Leading 64-62 going into the fourth, the Bucks tied it twice before Jason Maxiell’s short jumper ignited a 16-6 run that turned the game decisively in the Pistons’ favor. Ben Gordon’s jumper capped the run and gave Detroit an 87-75 lead with 2:50 to go and they never looked back. Detroit shot 65 percent in the fourth and outscored the Bucks 29-19...Rookie Brandon Jennings was 5 of 16 from the floor as he struggled to find his shooting stroke for the sixth consecutive game. He scored 11 of his 18 points in the second half and helped rally the Bucks in the third. Andrew Bogut added 17 points and 18 rebounds for the Bucks (23-27), who had crept back into playoff contention with five wins in their previous six games. They were unbeaten in seven home games in 2010...“Normally, it’s tough to win games when you get nine points in a quarter,” Bucks coach Scott Skiles said. “We never could get anything going.” Jennings shook off a 2 for 9 first-half shooting slump with 10 points early in the third to help the Bucks erase the Pistons’ 45-38 halftime lead. His fastbreak layup gave the Bucks a 53-52 lead, their first since midway through the first.

vs(From the Associated Press) - Carmelo Anthony got an unexpected breather in his return from an ankle injury. Anthony, who missed the previous eight games with a sprained left ankle, scored 19 points before joining other Denver starters on the bench for the fourth quarter as the Nuggets had their most lopsided win of the season, 127-91 against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night...The victory margin against a Dallas team that Denver eliminated in last season’s semifinal round of the playoffs surpassed the Nuggets’ previous high of 28 points, which they achieved twice in wins against Toronto and New Jersey in November...Nene led Denver with 21 points, Chauncey Billups added 16 and Chris Andersen had 14 points to go with 10 rebounds. Rarely used reserves Malik Allen (six points) and Johan Petro (13 points) combined for 19 points while playing in place of Kenyon Martin, who sat out because of tendinitis in his left knee...Dallas was led by Dirk Nowitzki with 17 points but also had to deal with its own injuries and a difficult back-to-back, arriving in Denver earlier Tuesday morning after beating the Golden State Warriors in Oakland the night before. “I’m disappointed, but it was a tough turnaround, difficult situation,” Dallas coach Rick Carlisle said. Jason Terry had 16 points and Josh Howard 14 for Dallas, which was without Shawn Marion because of lower back tightness. The Mavericks already were without Erik Dampier, who has missed three of the last four games because of a left knee injury. “Dampier’s a very important part of our team,” Carlisle said. “Not having him tonight, it makes it a lot tougher with guys like Nene and the Birdman (Andersen). Shawn’s situation tonight contributed. We need to get ourselves healthy coming out of the (All-Star) break. I like this team. We’ve had struggles, but we’re going to keep pushing.”

vs(From the Associated Press) - Oklahoma City is in the midst of its longest winning streak in six seasons. Kevin Durant had 33 points and 11 rebounds to help the Thunder beat the Blazers 89-77 on Tuesday night for a season-high sixth straight win. The six-game winning streak is the Oklahoma City franchise’s longest since the team was in Seattle and they won nine straight in 2004. It was the final game before the All-Star break for the Thunder...Durant, who hit 12 of 25 shots, continues to sizzle. It was the 25th straight game that Durant has scored 25 or more points the longest streak since Allen Iverson did it in 27 consecutive games during the 2000-01 season. Durant, forward Jeff Green and reserve guard James Harden did the bulk of Oklahoma City’s scoring, as the three combined for 63 points. Green had 17, while Harden scored 13, all during the fourth quarter...Four Blazers who play shooting guard Martell Webster, Rudy Fernandez, Jerryd Bayless and Steve Blake combined to score eight points and shoot 3 of 22 from the floor. “It was bad, a bad effort tonight,” Portland coach Nate McMillan said. Andre Miller scored 22 points to lead Portland. LaMarcus Aldridge had 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Blazers. Nicolas Batum, who scored 12 points, made his first start of the season for Portland. The 6-foot-8 Batum, who started 76 games last year as a rookie, missed this season’s first 45 games recovering from shoulder surgery.

vs(From the Associated Press) -
The limited minutes that reserve guard Ronnie Price spent on the court for the Utah Jazz were as valuable as Carlos Boozer’s contributions throughout the game. Boozer had 34 points and 14 rebounds Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Clippers, leading the Jazz to a 109-99 victory that extended their winning streak to nine games. In his second game back after missing the previous three because of a right calf strain, Boozer was 13 for 17 from the field to help the Jazz win for the 13th time in their last 14 games. “Booz was just a monster tonight and he proved that he should have been on the All-Star team. I think that’s basically what he was doing tonight,” point guard Deron Williams said...“The second group was able to get us back in there, and then in the fourth quarter, Ronnie Price and C.J. Miles just took control and got it back in our favor,” said Williams, who had 13 points and 11 assists. “I didn’t think I was going to go back in there in the fourth because they were playing so well. Those guys just ignited us.”...The Clippers got as close as 104-99 on Eric Gordon’s 3-point play with 3 minutes to go, but Baron Davis blew an easy fastbreak layup after a turnover by the Jazz, and Boozer sealed it for Utah 9 seconds later with a dunk that gave the Jazz a 107-99 cushion...Clippers center Chris Kaman, who was named to his first All-Star game on Sunday as a replacement for injured Portland guard Brandon Roy, had 19 points and seven rebounds. Rasual Butler had 18 points, and Gordon and Davis each added 16 for Los Angeles, which has lost seven of their last eight and two straight since Kim Hughes replaced Mike Dunleavy as head coach. The Clippers have changed coaches 12 times since Sloan took the Utah job in 1988, tying them with the New York Knicks and Denver Nuggets for the most during that stretch. Overall, there have been 236 coaching changes in the league since the Jazz hired Sloan.
